is a clever thief. It slips through your fingers so imperceptibly, that its tragic(or is it a blessing in disguise?).

old

I never thought I would feel old or dread birthdays. But I feel old - very, very old. Partly, because my life has been put on hold for the last two years while I sit on the beach watching the waves roll out with all the passion that I used to have before. Mainstream jobs can make you lose years, literally. I have no idea how so many people keep their jobs without losing sanity. And partly, because the only people who inspire me are so much younger than me. I spend hours reading and the only thing that I connect to is not the usual Rushdie/Shapiro/etc anymore. Today, it was the Venus Flytrap and the poems I later found through the same blog - both written amazingly well. Bravo!
